The second graders created these adorable frogs for their square one art project. We used shapes and lines to draw our frog, then learned about analogous colors, warm colors, and texture. I love how they all have their own personalities!!
Next, the second graders learned about color theory. The students learned all about primary and secondary colors in this art project based on the painting Three Machines by famous pop artist, Wayne Thiebaud. Students were given the primary colors and then had to mix them together to create the secondary colors.
